Great hotel This is a great hotel in a great location. It is in the centre of Rodney bay, but most of the time you would never know as the hotel is set so nicely in gardens. The restaurants and supermarket are a short walk in one way and the beach (down an unmade path) is a short walk the other way. Recommend the sunset on the beach. Pick your room carefully! The swim up rooms have direct access to the pool, but note that these are in the shade all day, and also it means that when you are sitting out on your patio, everyone around the pool is looking at you! Pool facing rooms (even the garden pool facing rooms) tend to be noisier as they are near the bar and also potential street noise (but this is minimal). And again the patios and balconies overlook the pool and everyone on the sun loungers. We had a garden patio room and this was round the other side. By having a "patio" room you are on the ground floor with more space on your terrace. You are looking at pleasant gardens and it is peaceful and private. Also gets the sun all day (as well as shade), so you can sit here and enjoy peace and quiet. The rooms could do with a minor update in some areas- the bed side lights cant be switched off from the bedside, only by a switch by the main door. We raised this at reception and they said "we know". The staff are all very friendly. Information isn't provided as a rule - you will have to ask to find anything out. We had to ask about times for meals and where to get towels and about the wifi (it's free and not locked). There was a Friday night BBQ and a Sunday lunch buffet, which no one told us about or was advertised - you find out when it happens! The food is very good. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice and an egg station. We were lucky to have lunch included as a special upgrade and this was really nice choice and very tasty. Note that the food in St Lucia is on the expensive side compared to UK - one pizza and salad and a drink will easily be £30. A three course meal for two at a nice restaurant will be £100. It is a two hour transfer from the airport - the roads in St Lucia wind across the country - but its all very beautiful. Recommend the Friday night jump up in Gros Islet (the hotel will organise you a taxi there and back at around £30) for the experience. You can walk to Pigeon Island (about an hour) and recommend a day out to do the mud baths, waterfall, rum distillery etc. Overall, a great hotel in a great location.

Great value hotel in Rodney Bay area Very clean hotel, bathrooms need refurbishing. Breakfasts were very good. Great area, reddit beach across the street. There are many restaurants within walking distance as well as grocery stores and 2 malls. Most of staff at hotel werent the friendliest, very businesslike and few smiles. The biggest drawback is the noise at night from either the bars over on the next street or the hotel hosting parties in the pool area that went well into 1:30 am. But overall overall the hotel was a great value for the money.

Coco Palm Coco Palm is a great place to stay in the Rodney Bay area. Definitely recommend booking in advance as the prices go up if you wait. Of the places that we stayed at, I preferred Green Fig near the Pitons, which was cheaper and nicer, but for the Rodney Bay area, you can't beat Coco Palm! Nearby, you can hike the mountain next to Reduit beach, which has the attached view.

Coco Palm resort Hotel was very nice, friendly and helpful. Very clean room and resort area. The pool was beautiful. Our room had a garden view, although there wasn't much of a garden to look at it made no difference. we had a suite on the forth floor, it was beautifully appointed.

Could I give a 3.5 rating please? Haha We stayed here for a family holiday in February 2024. First impressions of the hotel were not great as someone had an issue with their room as we were checking in haha. However we checked in and went to our family room which was located on the 4th floor. We were very pleasantly surprised by the room. It was very nice indeed and was a nice large size for a family of 3. The main bed was big and our daughter had a sofa bed which was comfy enough for her (8 years old). We never heard any complaints from other guests at the hotel about older children finding these sofa beds uncomfortable. Housekeeping were very good and the room was always cleaned and kept tidy. The pool area is nice and has just enough beds and parasols. The pool was always kept clean and was nice. It had the normal fight for positioning things going on but nothing major. The pool had two tiers and was good for kids as well as adults. It was only 4ft deep at its deepest point which we found a nice depth. Food and drink, here is where things went a little awry. The drinks and food were of a good standard, that must be said but the service needs looking at across the board. Dinner in the evenings was a bit of a nightmare with long waits for a table (you couldn't book) and an even longer wait for food. Service wasn't great and this could take a while to be seen too once seated. Tables not being set correctly and things not being completed properly were a standard occurrence. Some of the waiting staff could do with a lesson in client liaison as a few were pretty moody haha. This wasn't great especially with an 8 year old. Families beware, hungry kids are no fun and having to explain why things are taking so long isn't the best. The restaurant service needs looking at as it was the only poor experience we had of the hotel. It all seemed a bit chaotic, even breakfast could be a bit messy. It isn't cheap either if you are having to pay for your meals! We only had to pay for our evening meal as the other meals were included in our stay but we ended up going out for lunch and dinner to avoid the hotel service (which did us a favour). Bar service was slow, especially during busy periods, with only one person serving the restaurant and also the bar/pool area. My wife and I talked about whether we would stay here again and the answer is probably yes. It had a good location and the pluses did outweigh the negatives. Would we recommend this hotel to our friends? That's an answer we weren't so sure on but if you don't mind finding other places to eat (there are plenty around the area which are great) then go for it. However if you want to eat in the hotel a lot I'd give this a miss.

Stay here you won’t regret it. Let me just say that this hotel is an absolute asset to St Lucia. I am so glad that I chose to stay here for our honey moon. This hotel is St Lucian owned which is why I has chosen to stay here. Let’s keep the money with the people who were born and bred on this lovely lsland I visited from Grenada so believe me I am very used to great beaches; pools ect. But I literally came here for a relaxing break to enjoy the room I also read many reviews for the area and all of the really expensive places did not seem to have great value for money. I opted for midrange as I didn’t want to be disappointed. I’m glad I did ! The pool view suites are exactly like the photos; my husband and I were very comfortable along with our 11 month old. The room was clean spacious and the bed was soooo comfortable The breakfast was excellent everyday. Always a good variety. The staff are super helpful and the grounds are well maintained. I didn’t have dinner at the hotel but there are loads of nice places walking distance - and there’s a really good mall about 7 mins walk away. The only comment I would make is that at breakfast I had to ask for the baby high chair about 6 times before it was bought to me. And sometimes the bar tender could be extremely slow trying to serve the pool and the restaurant Nonetheless 10 out of 10. Please stay this way as I’ll be recommending Cocopalm To anyone who wants to Visit Rodney bay.

This hotel is a gem. We opted for all inclusive for our 2 week stay. The food eas exceptionally good with an extensive menu. The waitresses were mostly very attentive and friendly. Christian the bar manager was superb. The Hotel bedroom was fine but shower needs modernising. The hotel pool is large set amongst very well maintained gardens. A credit to the hotel. The small downside is not being at the beach but the local one only is a 10 minute walk. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to my friends.

What a great resort! We very much enjoyed our 7 days at Coco Palm. The swim up suites were awesome. The food & drink were tasty and the staff were super friendly and kind. The shower faucet & AC did need fixing, but management had it done the same day. I was impressed. We will totally return! Love how close it is the Reduit Beach, too.
