“The experience of a lifetime”

My friends and I stayed at Coco Palm Resort a week ago, and we had the experience of a lifetime. We knew our trip was off to a great start when we were greeted by our driver Greg. Think of your favourite sweetest uncle and there, you have Greg. He truly made us feel right at home. On arriving to the Resort we met Amber, whose smile I promise you warms the heart. We had the swim up room and boy was it beautiful and cozy, which was a good thing since it rained a lot that weekend. But could the rain stop the fun? NOT AT ALL. Thanks to the resort's perfect location we were able to bar hop and make trips to the malls, restaurants and beaches which were just a few steps away. If you thought honey was sweet then you haven't met Peppy. Peppy made sure we were well taken care of, and on the day that the sun decided to smile on us, she booked a tour that was absolutely perfect for us. Much thanks to Junior, Gloriana, the captain and our scuba guide for helping make our tour unforgettable. The live entertainment at the resort was also very wonderful. I truly enjoyed the steelpan and the band's rendition of the Calypso and Soca music. The food was BEYOND amazing. The meals most times were buffet style, which was great because that truly fought the temptation to lick the plate. As if the food wasn't good enough we had Curline, whose humor and kindness made our meals all the more enjoyable. The bartender certainly was not lying when he said everything he made taste great. The Heatwave is definitely a drink one should try when there. I honestly can't imagine a place with nicer people and better customer service. We are forever grateful to everyone who helped make our stay the most enjoyable. Coco Palm definitely has a special place in our hearts.

“Couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful”

Despite being unlucky with the weather (rainy season), the sun was always shining as far as the staff was concerned. The star of the show for us was Peppy, on the concierge desk. She was mega helpful in trying to ensure we got the most from our visit and also when troubled by bad back was very helpful in getting assistance. The room was great, big pool and lots of facilities. The best value tip I could give is for all-inclusive, and we're really not big drinkers. Loved it!

“Beyond amazing!”

We went on 8th October 2015 for my 50th birthday on the 10th. I can honestly say, I had the best birthday ever and this was mainly because of the fantastic staff; the concierge Peppy and Amber were fabulous, the cleaner Nicola was wonderful; there isn't anything they wouldn't do to make our stay wonderful. If you want to be spoilt and do nothing all day then this is the place to stay.

“Lovely honeymoon”

What a super, friendly resort this is. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was first class. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We had a lovely room just a short walk from the pool, the restaurant and the bar. The rooms are excellent and very well serviced. Rafina certainly looked after ours excellently. There are actually 2 restaurants on the site, and you have to take lunch at the Koko Cabana; you are free to use either for your evening meal. If I had to pick a favourite it would be the Creole Grill, in the evening where we were very well looked after by Sean and the other staff. The resort is only a very short walk from the beautiful local beach. If you want an experience, take the bus to Castries, its well worth it.

“Great intro to the Caribbean"

What an intro to the Caribbean. We spent an amazing 11 relaxing days celebrating our 30th anniversary in a wonderful location made even more memorable by the warm professional welcome received and a surprising bonus of an upgrade to a swim-up room (thank you). Throughout our stay all the staff were dedicated, friendly and always went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. A special mention and thank you must go to Princess, Rafic, Andy, Nicola and mustn't forget Ernie. Great Place, Great People, Great experience. See you all again next year.

Wow! Just returned from this Hotel. Two weeks stay and from start to finish I couldn't fault this hotel! Check-in is quick and easy. The rooms are clean and the service and food is worthy of a five star rating. The Staff can’t do enough to help you; a special mention has to go to Sean, Nicola, and Dwight behind the bar! If you’re thinking of booking this hotel, I couldn't fault it. AMAZING! Book this hotel and enjoy the beautiful island of St Lucia and its amazing people!

“Peaceful and tranquil”

What a fantastic experience in a beautiful location. Had an amazing ten days in this hotel and I cannot fault this place, it was so chilling, tidy and clean. Met some great friends there, especially those form Swansea they know who they are. All in all the staff were fab, especially Princess, Rafic, and Demetrius, but in general all were good. The hotel is close to a wonderful beach and the locals are so friendly. Don't miss out on St Lucia night (Fridays) if you like to boogie, then its quite a night, and do the sunset cruise well worth the money. We are well seasoned travellers and would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Thank you all at Coco Palm.

“Stunning, Friendly, Lively hotel – Take me back now!”

Myself and my family stayed at the Coco Palm for 11 nights and we have never met such friendly, helpful, approachable staff in such a beautiful, stunning environment. So close to beach and Rodney Bay. Every Friday is the famous St Lucian street party and the hotel just lights up! Loud Caribbean music that gets everybody in the mood, cocktails by the pool, just amazing. The rooms were spotless. They are spacious, clean, air conditioned, everything you could need. It was cleaned everyday, and coffee was topped off everyday without fail. As soon as we got to the hotel, we were starving and the staff came over and offered us a lovely lunch even though we missed the lunch time hours. The staff were so friendly. We loved the Koko Cabana restaurant was brilliant. And the Creole restaurant was just amazing. The banana fritters and fish dishes were stunning. So much colour, flavour, our only regret was that we didn't spend more time there! Sean the waiter/restaurant manager was so professional and showed us the real way to eat Caribbean food. He made our night. The pool was massive, so much room to swim. It was beautiful, during the day and in the evening when it all lights up. Palm trees and beautiful bright flowers everywhere! Our virgin rep Mark made our holiday so much easier and enjoyable. He was a delight to meet and was always so attentive, stepping outside his job role, making sure we were given the best Caribbean experience possible. It was an absolute delight to stay here, and when we do return to Saint Lucia, we will be more than happy to come back to the Coco Palm resort.

“Excellent service and staff”

Husband and I were there for an anniversary get away. Peppy at the concierge desk and her staff made it very special . All staff made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Sean at the restaurant was great. Hats off to them all. Two restaurants on property; both had great food and service. We took a room with the back door opening to the pool. We enjoyed the live bands that played some nights at dinner. We were also fond of the little birds that would sometimes visit with guests as we ate. Room was clean and property well kept.

Malls, groceries, restaurants, banks, pharmacies and doctors all within walking distance. Will surely visit again!

“Great stay for single traveller”

I am a woman in my 30’s and I stayed at Coco Palm for 7 days and I have no complaints at all. The resort location made it easy for me to get to a bank or a grocery store by foot. The beach is walking distance away. The cab ride to Pigeon Island was only 12$ and you can easily take one of the minibuses to Castries for 2.5 EC$! The staff at the resort whether it was the front desk folks or Peppy at the Concierge desk or Ash (who made the best rum punch I had during my stay!) at the Koko Cabana or Martha (housekeeping) and every other staff always had a smile on their face for you and greeted you. I knew with them if I had a question I would definitely get an answer! I didn't feel like I was alone at all. Thank you for making my stay awesome!

“Family Feel Holiday”

The Coco Palm is an amazing hotel with a friendly and warm atmosphere from staff and guests. As a small ST Lucian owned hotel, it had a quaint family feel with local food for breakfast and various other options for dinner.

There was WiFi all around the hotel which was great and as I was travelling alone at the time, the staff were really accommodating and sweet. The information desk to book activities was great and informative and the horse riding activity with a gentleman named Winston is a lovely day out and is recommended.

“A great hotel with very friendly staff”

I stayed here for a week with my daughter. Before we arrived at the hotel my husband had spoken with Peppy in concierge and had booked a helicopter transfer. Peppy was amazing and once she knew that it was 2 ladies travelling alone, she did everything she could to ensure that things ran smoothly for us, and it did! Even when she booked the taxi back to the airport for us after our stay, she saw us to it and waved us off like long lost friends! We really appreciate her time and help, she is a credit to the hotel.

We were all inclusive, the food was good, plenty of choices and the drinks were plentiful too, with lots of choices for cocktails too. The hotel is located within walking distance of Rodney Bay and also there is a beach you can walk to which was lovely and quiet.

We had a patio pool room which was great and the room was kept clean. WiFi was ok, a bit slow at times. When we left the hotel we were asked to vote a member of staff as being the best, but we felt this was unfair as all the staff were friendly to us and made us feel very welcome, so our vote goes to everyone! A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

“Can't wait to go back”

This vacation was awesome. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The service is excellent. Our room was always clean. The food was so AMAZING. There are two restaurants and you can have a taste of both worlds... both restaurants were great but after dining at the local restaurant the first time, I just kept on reserving a seat there. All the staff are so accommodating but I just want to mention the restaurant staff – The Kitchen's manager's, she is so amazing – Princess, Daniel, Lise, Sean, these are the names I remember, but everyone was just so great. This was service excellence at its best and I really can't wait to go back.

“Another amazing stay”

We returned for the second year running and once again had a fantastic holiday. We thank all the staff once again for a fantastic warm welcome on our return. Peppy organised our taxi from the airport with Jame’s taxis. Our taxi was there to collect us promptly even though we had a 2 hour delay. We used James on other occasions throughout our stay. We arrived at the hotel to a very warm return welcome from Peppy and Claudine . Welcome home they said, and that's what it felt like, it was so relaxing immediately. Over the two weeks we stayed, we had great service from all the staff, too many to mention individually but a big thank you once again. The room was cleaned daily and thoroughly. The food in the restaurant was very good. We took up the all inclusive package which was worth every penny. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you looking for a St Lucian hotel in a great location for all the amenities of Rodney Bay. We also did the trip organised by Peppy for the catamaran, it was an all day trip which was fantastic, taking in the pitons, the mud baths and the natural spring not to mention the absolutely stunning Marigot Bay, not a trip to be missed. The beach is close when you take the shortcut and is stunning and also don't miss the trip to pigeon island via the water taxi. This hotel has a true St Lucian feel to it and we can't recommend this hotel enough, although the selfish side of us would like to keep this hidden gem a secret Trust us if you visit this hotel you won't be disappointed.

“Well run”

Stayed at one of the Coco Kreole village rooms to save a little money. If my wife were with me I would have stayed in the Coco Palm, where the rooms are newer and larger. But this is a smaller property on site, rooms clean, nice size everything worked and best of all closer to Rodney Bay's front street. perfect location, safe, comfortable and staff at check in and breakfast shift were excellent.

"What a lovely resort! I enjoyed my birthday…”

From making the reservation to arrival and departure day, was pretty good at Coco Palm. I must say that I was impressed with the wow! factor of my birthday in the room, which was 18th April, 2015. It was nicely decorated with balloons and decorations "Happy birthday", a bottle of white wine and glasses nicely decorated, and what made me so happy was the birthday card I received in the room (which was the only birthday card I received).

Once again, a heartfelt thank you to the management and staff for making my birthday a relaxing and happy one. Lastly, the salad, the lamb, the dessert, the breakfast buffet… Everything I chose on the "Cocolicious" menu was delicious and fresh that evening for dinner. Quincy, the waiter that served my food, was helpful and had a warm smile. I felt loved at Coco Palm.

Definitely I will return again and I told my family and friends both St.Lucia and abroad to stay at Coco Palm anytime.

“Brilliant Little hotel”

Very nice place the staff could not be more attentive and help full. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Food very very nice but a bit repetitive. Rooms cleaned every day new towels to. Some great cocktails. Joanne was a great waitress. Patricia, Daniel, and Anaman on the front desk – that's just ones I can recall. As I said all staff were great.

Nice and clean place. If you want quieter ask for garden room.

“Small and pretty hotel with excellent restaurant and bar”

We have just returned from 10 days staying in Coco Palm and we had a brilliant time. Staff were really friendly and helpful at all times and we felt well looked after. Food and drink at both Koko Cabana and the Creole Grill were delicious, and although the menu at Koko Cabana did not change, we were more than happy to have some of the meals a second time. Cocktail menu is excellent and all but one are included in the all-inclusive plan. No problems with noise from the village or pool when staying in the patio garden rooms, and you get sun on your patio in the evening when there is no sun over the pool. Rooms are quite basic but good coffee making facilities in the patio garden rooms and has everything you need for the small amount of time you spend in your room.

Hotel is in Rodney bay, a fun, friendly, touristy area of the island, shops and cafés just outside, and only a few minutes walk to Reduit beach, which is good for swimming. We liked the beach better in the pigeon point national park, which we managed to walk to from the hotel, took an hour but was worth it. We had a car for 5 days which was well worth it, got to explore the island which is absolutely stunning.

Fabulous holiday, thank you Coco Palm!

“Inexpensive gem in St. Lucia… But the concierge MADE the trip!”

I stayed at the Coco Palm for 9 days in September 2014. I was originally in Marigot Bay at a VRBO location, but it didn't have air conditioning. So, I got a great deal at Coco Palm. It’s your typical resort with great pool, live band each night until 10 pm, and its not on the beach. In my opinion, it was better than staying on the beach. I had a poolside room and could wade out into the water whenever I liked. The room was nothing spectacular, but I had absolutely zero to complain about. Air-conditioning worked great, bathrooms were nice, and the maid service was pleasant and thorough. Also, the Wi-Fi was excellent the entire time, and no password required. Made it very easy.

I tried eating at the restaurant for breakfast one day, and that was the only time that I tried. I'll admit that I'm a very picky eater when it comes to quality. I live in Austin Texas, and him used to a very high-quality food. However, it seemed like there were a lot of happy people at breakfast everyday.

I rather enjoyed the fact that we were not on the beach because when you walk on the beach, you were constantly heckled by locals trying to sell you necklaces, among other souvenirs. The pool at the Coco Palm provides a private reserve where you can relax and get all of the sunshine in privacy and away from that riffraff. I enjoyed walking the beach, and it was only a two minute walk from the hotel, But when I wanted to lay in the sun, I preferred to do it at the hotel. Also the restaurants and Rodney they are all a five-minute walk from the hotel. It's a perfect location.

The concierge is the true gem at Coco Palm. Peppy Took care of me and every single way possible. I told her that I wanted an active adventure while here in St. Lucia and she arranged for me to meet one of the premier ecologist / biologists on the island. We ended up becoming fast friends and I spent three separate tours with him including a two or through the rain forest, wildlife identification, and learning about the local plants and crops that are grown in St. Lucia. The highlight was getting to see his private beehive in suit up and work in amongst the bees. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. There were a couple of curveballs with the scheduling, and Peppy handled each of them with grace and wonderful suggestions all along the way. I also wanted to play tennis while I was here and she was able to introduce me to one of the pros on the island: Stephen Marcelle. If you're tennis player, this is your guy.

When I first got to St. Lucia, I was focused on the abundant poverty, and Fed up with the bombardment of locals trying to sell you knickknacks. However, 10 days later, I feel like I have some very good friends here, and cannot wait until my next trip to St. Lucia. Peppy at concierge made all that happen.

When I come back, I'm staying at the Coco Palm.

Room Tip: Get one of the rooms with the pool

“Best vacation of my life”

My boyfriend (now husband) and myself needed a trip to escape the mundane world, and decided to make St. Lucia our Destination (thanks to Going Places). We arrived and were greeted with complimentary cocktails and was then escorted to our rooms where there was a luxurious king sized bed, a LOVELY shower, with both an overhead and side system and a ceramic seat, allowing us to steam the room and sit back and relax (felt like a personal sauna).

The view overlooked the pool, with hills and mountains in the distant. The first night we had a tiny issue and the hotel staff was EXTREMELY HELPFUL. The manager of the entire estate came at 10pm (after her shift) to assist us further, checking in every morning. Breakfast was great (complimentary). Buffet style ranging from saltfish, beans, tuna, pork sausages, sausages, bacon, scramble eggs, bakes, french toast, fruits, cereals, muffins, tamarind juice, sorrel, tea, coffee, an omelet station making your exact order and MUCH more. The hotel is central to everything. Rodney Bay is walking distance (wife variety of malls, fast foods, restaurant). It is also walking distance to the beach. And a short trip by van to the main town, Castries. My boyfriend and I were so comfortable and in love that he proposed during the stay and the hotel arranged everything. Someone to conduct the ceremony, a location, they provided witnesses etc. As well as complimentary cake and wine for us to celebrate. It was truly the BEST vacation I have ever experienced.

“Value for money and exceptional staff”

Just returned from two fabulous weeks at the Coco Palm. We stayed in the Kreole building which is not, as some reviews suggest, a significant walk from the main hotel. The rooms can be noisy Thursday to Sunday but that's why they are cheaper! I would suggest you just go out and enjoy the night and then it won't bother you!

Lovely pool and bar area with a great choice of cocktails. Towels supplied for the pool and beach and the staff will go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. Special mentions for Raphic and Demetrius at the bar, and Andy in reception. I also enjoyed a back and shoulder massage which was one of the best I have had. The breakfast buffet has lots to offer, including the usual English breakfast and also local foods to try. The salt fish and plantains were a favourite. We didn't stay all inclusive but we did visit the Creole restaurant which I would highly recommend for sampling the local cuisine.

If you like your sleep then probably stay in the main hotel but if you plan to be out in the bars anyway then the Kreole rooms will be just fine (although I would request a top floor room overlooking the garden). The location is perfect for bars, restaurants, the beach, duty free shopping, the Gros Islet Street party and Castries is just a bus ride away.

"Coco Palm Resort - St Lucia"

Good morning Claudine Gilbert and everyone in COCO PALM.

Me (Robin) and wife Maria Albert, had the most wonderful time in the resort, a time we will always remember, as it was 20 years ago we got married in St. Lucia. As you all notice Maria is wheelchair bound, and the most helpful guys such as Glen and Patricia plus everyone which I would like to remember all names, the gardener and maintenance man, plus Stephanie we meet each morning (a wonderful lady), plus Peppy and Alexandra.

We will always remember the great hospitality by everyone and we will be back as this was the best of the best.

Love, care and may God be with you all.

“Great value for money and would recommend”

We stayed at Coco Palm at Christmas, and we were not disappointed. It is expensive to travel to the Caribbean from England, especially at Christmas time, and this was the most cost effective with the best reviews.

I have to day we weren't disappointed and really enjoyed our stay and would return. Our board was B&B to save on costs, which was perfect as the hotel is conveniently located among the bars and restaurants. We did eat at the hotel a few times on the evening. The food was lovely but it could do with the menu being rotated so there is more of a selection. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. Our house maid was a lovely girl called Nicky who we were really friendly with, who was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The pool was nice and you could always get a sun lounger which was great. The beach was only a five minute walk which was very handy.

If you are looking for a good hotel which is great value for money then this is your place. You also get a passport when you leave so when you return then you can get a discounted price for a return visit.

We have stayed here several times in the last few months. The staff is incredible and accommodating. Ananam has impeccable customer service that has gone way above and beyond and the rest of the staff has been wonderful as well. Peppy, who does booking for excursions, is wonderful and always accommodating when we book trips at the last minute. The breakfast that comes with the cost of staying in the main hotel is delicious (omelets!). The location is central and near the mall. The pool is clean and refreshing. The waiting staff is always friendly but never overbearing. If you do want to go to the beach there is one nearby that is a quiet little slice of heaven. In all honesty I cannot think of a single complaint about this hotel.

“Friendly, accommodating, and beautiful.”

We purchased this trip as a groupon and were pleasantly surprised. The resort staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, not to mention helpful. The location is great, just a very short walk to the mall, shops, multiple restaurants, and the beach. The beach was amazing, it was a short walk and the location was superb! Away from all the crowded bustle of the bigger resorts, this portion of beach seemed like our own prime real estate, that the locals were aware of but not much else. We had a gorgeous strip of beach about 1 mile long for ourselves, watching the sailboats in the sunlight. The resort itself was so accommodating, especially on my birthday. As it happened a hurricane passed through in the day of my birth and needless to say I was upset to have to stay inside. But, the staff made up for it wonderfully, bringing my a bottle of wine, balloons, and a birthday card, apologising for the weather. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and remembered our drinks of choice and gave it more of an intimate feel. I felt like this was a home away from home here, the room was beautiful, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious! I would definitely go back for another stay.

“Pleasure comes in many forms”

Our first time in St Lucia and it will not be long before we travel to the Coco Palm again. We up graded to a pool side room, and were more than happy with the whole experience.

It was our 25th anniversary present to each other and the staff helped us celebrate in style. They were 'ON HAND', and attentive from reception to farewell and even up for a little booty shaking when encouraged during the live entertainment nights. The cocktails were polite without getting you silly – (like I needed that!)

We plumped for all-inclusive, no mistake on that front, the menu for all meals was varied, served hot and fast and most importantly, nothing was a problem. The room was adorable, spacious, more than clean with coffee and tea making equipment. Then as you open your veranda doors, 3 steps into the pool... Just AWESOME! and it was cleaned EVERY DAY!

We only left the complex twice, once to use the local cash machine and we got escorted to and from it by one of the staff. The second time was to visit the street party, where one of the bar staff, Kurt, transported us to and from. SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND.

The whole visit was relaxing, laughing with the staff, relaxing around the pool and enjoying everything that was on offer. We will we return. OH YES!

“What I will remember most is the excellent service”

The quality of service that was offered during our two week stay was consistently first class. The staff were so helpful and friendly it really made the holiday very memorable for all the right reasons! There was a genuine interest shown by staff throughout the hotel in us having a really good holiday.

The location of the hotel is great, well placed for the beach and Rodney Bay village. The restaurant serves great food and the same level of high quality service is provided.

Coco Palm Resort is simply a great place for a relaxing holiday.

“Home from home,with extra's”

We have been coming back to this hotel for years... That should say it all, but we think it deserves much more. I cannot believe that I have never written a review on tripadvisor about this hotel, (shame on us) especially after all the memories and new friends it has given us.

The hotel for us is warm, welcoming, friendly, value for money year in year out. The decor is lovely, and I love the big beds (I can starfish to my hearts content!), and the swim up rooms are my favourite rooms, even though there is nothing wrong with any of the other rooms that we have stayed in.

A big mention has to go out to Claudine and all her staff, who always have a smile and are ready to help at any time to make our stay just perfect, not too personal and not impersonal, just right, and so very generous over the years. The bar, restaurant and kitchen staff are also just the same, very helpful and attentive without being intrusive and work very hard.

We have always found the hotel very clean and never had any need to complain, but we know if we did, it would be sorted straight away – Roll on Jazz 2014! Cannot wait to return home.

Another bonus is that the hotel is so near all the local bars and restaurants, as well as the shopping mall, it means no need for taxis just get up and go.

“Coco Palm 7 Up”

7th time now... Not much to say really other than it's our favourite hotel in the Caribbean hence the number of times staying here. Well looked after from the minute we get here to when leaving... Always difficult... It's just a great family orientated and well run establishment. Nothing is too much trouble for them; and we look forward to number 8 in February, and 9 in May for Jazz & Arts Festival – Will we make 10... Very likely!
