“Thank you Coco Palm”

It was one of the most enjoyable time I had. Really good service, good people, clean rooms. Must go back to experience some of their tours. Had a great time. I did the all inclusive package and I did not have any hidden cost, and I was fully satisfied with the meals and drinks offered.

"Coco Palm Resort - St Lucia"

Good morning Claudine Gilbert and everyone in COCO PALM.

Me (Robin) and wife Maria Albert, had the most wonderful time in the resort, a time we will always remember, as it was 20 years ago we got married in St. Lucia. As you all notice Maria is wheelchair bound, and the most helpful guys such as Glen and Patricia plus everyone which I would like to remember all names, the gardener and maintenance man, plus Stephanie we meet each morning (a wonderful lady), plus Peppy and Alexandra.

We will always remember the great hospitality by everyone and we will be back as this was the best of the best.<7p>

Love, care and may God be with you all.

Robin and Maria Albert.

“Happy staff... Happy customers”

The genuine friendliness of the staff to their patrons and to each other made this our best vacation ever. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the building itself is very clean. The food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the Creole Grill restaurant.

I have traveled to St. Lucia at least on ten different occasions but my recent visit was the best of them all. I had the happy pleasure of staying at the Coco Palm Resort in Rodney Bay. The resort was "fabulous" well maintained, friendly staff, excellent food and near to the shopping district. The Creole Grill is a must for those who want to experience the island flavor. Our plans are already in place to return January 2015 along with several friends. Thank you Claudine Gilbert for a fabulous experience.

“Great value for money and would recommend”

We stayed at Coco Palm at Christmas, and we were not disappointed. It is expensive to travel to the Caribbean from England, especially at Christmas time, and this was the most cost effective with the best reviews.

I have to day we weren't disappointed and really enjoyed our stay and would return. Our board was B&B to save on costs, which was perfect as the hotel is conveniently located among the bars and restaurants. We did eat at the hotel a few times on the evening. The food was lovely but it could do with the menu being rotated so there is more of a selection. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. Our house maid was a lovely girl called Nicky who we were really friendly with, who was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The pool was nice and you could always get a sun lounger which was great. The beach was only a five minute walk which was very handy.

If you are looking for a good hotel which is great value for money then this is your place. You also get a passport when you leave so when you return then you can get a discounted price for a return visit.

We have stayed here several times in the last few months. The staff is incredible and accommodating. Ananam has impeccable customer service that has gone way above and beyond and the rest of the staff has been wonderful as well. Peppy, who does booking for excursions, is wonderful and always accommodating when we book trips at the last minute. The breakfast that comes with the cost of staying in the main hotel is delicious (omelets!). The location is central and near the mall. The pool is clean and refreshing. The waiting staff is always friendly but never overbearing. If you do want to go to the beach there is one nearby that is a quiet little slice of heaven. In all honesty I cannot think of a single complaint about this hotel.

“Friendly, accommodating, and beautiful.”

We purchased this trip as a groupon and were pleasantly surprised. The resort staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, not to mention helpful. The location is great, just a very short walk to the mall, shops, multiple restaurants, and the beach. The beach was amazing, it was a short walk and the location was superb! Away from all the crowded bustle of the bigger resorts, this portion of beach seemed like our own prime real estate, that the locals were aware of but not much else. We had a gorgeous strip of beach about 1 mile long for ourselves, watching the sailboats in the sunlight. The resort itself was so accommodating, especially on my birthday. As it happened a hurricane passed through in the day of my birth and needless to say I was upset to have to stay inside. But, the staff made up for it wonderfully, bringing my a bottle of wine, balloons, and a birthday card, apologising for the weather. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and remembered our drinks of choice and gave it more of an intimate feel. I felt like this was a home away from home here, the room was beautiful, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious! I would definitely go back for another stay.

“Pleasure comes in many forms”

Our first time in St Lucia and it will not be long before we travel to the Coco Palm again. We up graded to a pool side room, and were more than happy with the whole experience.

It was our 25th anniversary present to each other and the staff helped us celebrate in style. They were 'ON HAND', and attentive from reception to farewell and even up for a little booty shaking when encouraged during the live entertainment nights. The cocktails were polite without getting you silly – (like I needed that!)

We plumped for all-inclusive, no mistake on that front, the menu for all meals was varied, served hot and fast and most importantly, nothing was a problem. The room was adorable, spacious, more than clean with coffee and tea making equipment. Then as you open your veranda doors, 3 steps into the pool... Just AWESOME! and it was cleaned EVERY DAY!

We only left the complex twice, once to use the local cash machine and we got escorted to and from it by one of the staff. The second time was to visit the street party, where one of the bar staff, Kurt, transported us to and from. SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND.

The whole visit was relaxing, laughing with the staff, relaxing around the pool and enjoying everything that was on offer. We will we return. OH YES!

“What I will remember most is the excellent service”

The quality of service that was offered during our two week stay was consistently first class. The staff were so helpful and friendly it really made the holiday very memorable for all the right reasons! There was a genuine interest shown by staff throughout the hotel in us having a really good holiday.

The location of the hotel is great, well placed for the beach and Rodney Bay village. The restaurant serves great food and the same level of high quality service is provided.

Coco Palm Resort is simply a great place for a relaxing holiday.

“Home from home,with extra's”

We have been coming back to this hotel for years... That should say it all, but we think it deserves much more. I cannot believe that I have never written a review on tripadvisor about this hotel, (shame on us) especially after all the memories and new friends it has given us.

The hotel for us is warm, welcoming, friendly, value for money year in year out. The decor is lovely, and I love the big beds (I can starfish to my hearts content!), and the swim up rooms are my favourite rooms, even though there is nothing wrong with any of the other rooms that we have stayed in.

A big mention has to go out to Claudine and all her staff, who always have a smile and are ready to help at any time to make our stay just perfect, not too personal and not impersonal, just right, and so very generous over the years. The bar, restaurant and kitchen staff are also just the same, very helpful and attentive without being intrusive and work very hard.

We have always found the hotel very clean and never had any need to complain, but we know if we did, it would be sorted straight away – Roll on Jazz 2014! Cannot wait to return home.

Another bonus is that the hotel is so near all the local bars and restaurants, as well as the shopping mall, it means no need for taxis just get up and go.

“Coco Palm 7 Up”

7th time now... Not much to say really other than it's our favourite hotel in the Caribbean hence the number of times staying here. Well looked after from the minute we get here to when leaving... Always difficult... It's just a great family orientated and well run establishment. Nothing is too much trouble for them; and we look forward to number 8 in February, and 9 in May for Jazz & Arts Festival – Will we make 10... Very likely!

“Holiday in Paradise”

My 25 year old son and I enjoyed an excellent holiday from the beginning until the final minutes when British Airways informed us of a delay of two hours to our return flight. We had a great garden room, allowing us to walk out of the room into the swimming pool to start each day with some stimulating exercise. We timed the holiday for the school holiday period and staying bed and breakfast enabled us to enjoy the quiet, peaceful beauty of the surrounding area in tranquil peacefulness. Staying for two weeks meant that we began to find the restaurant menu a little repetitive and boring. The Breakfast on the other-hand was a banquet style and you could vary your intake on a daily basis. The staff throughout the hotel, from reception personnel, room servicing to restaurant staff were very attentive without being overpowering and were clearly concerned to be sure that we enjoyed every aspect of the holiday.

A significant and wide ranging choice of restaurants were available within an easy walking distance from the hotel. The biggest shopping mall on the island was also within walking distance of the hotel, ideal for gifts and cards for everyone at home, missing out on paradise.

The one tour taken incorporated the whole tour of the island in the back of an open land-rover returning the north of the island by catamaran, showing the fantastic landscape surrounding the history of Saint Lucia.

“Fantastic hotel, lovely staff”

We spent two weeks here recently – it was just what we needed. It was relaxing, the room was perfect (walk straight out to a terrace and the pool side) and the surrounding gardens are kept beautifully. The location is great – 5 minutes walk to the beach with everything you could need around you.

We'll definitely be back!

Dear Feolla (& Allen),

We have just returned home after another wonderful stay at the Coco Palm Hotel and before I get caught up in work, I thought I would write to you to express our thanks to both of you and your team.

As you might remember, we have become “regulars”.

As a seasoned Hospitality Executive, I spend a lot of time with my clients helping them understand the importance of customer service and its impact (both positive and negative) on driving repeat business. I must tell you that you have achieved something quite extraordinary.

It is clear that your entire staff, everyone from the Grounds Team to your Management Staff, has embraced and exude the most critical element in every successful businesses, an uncompromised dedication to Customer Service Excellence.

When we met and spoke to you about our love for Coco Palm, you asked why. I believe your statement was “if I can figure out why people love the hotel I would bottle it ….”. Unfortunately, as we both know, you cannot “bottle great customer service”, you simply have to believe in it and execute it and your team does it effortlessly daily.

Claudine and her team cannot be more hospitable. The Restaurant & Bar Staff are great. The grounds staff and Housekeeping team are always diligent. Can we find faults, certainly we can. However, the mark of a great service industry business is that Great Service can trump any defects.

In closing, we would simply like to thank you and the team once again for an exceptional stay and we look forward to seeing you all soon.

“Great time at Coco Palm”

We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids. We arrived late after 9:30 pm and we were all starving and tired from a long day. The staff in the restaurant were so friendly and accomodated us without a fuss, Amelia and Esther are two gems! The rooms were clean, linen fresh, service prompt. The food was really good and I was especially pleased to find out it was a Trini chef :)

I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel for a holiday!

“A perfect stay”

Having chosen for Coco Palm for all the good reviews, we must admit they´re right.

Located in the heart of Rodney Bay, everything you wish for is in walking distance, including the beach. Nice for a morning walk before breakfast.

All the staff, from roommaids till waiters, are so friendly and always in for a chat. That makes good atmosphere.

Our room: We booked a ground floor garden room. Rooms at the upper levels do not have balconies, Be aware of that if you like to sit outside on your terrace.

Restaurant was OK. Breakfast appeared to overload the staff a bit, resulting in short supply from time to time. But hey, it´s holiday, so plenty of time to have breakfast.

Thanks for our perfect stay, hope to be back in the future.

“Second time was even better”

We have just returned from a second stay at this exceptional hotel. You have to be there to appreciate the ambience and the attention to detail by all the staff. What makes this hotel different is that there are no lists of rules because the staff are there to ensure that you are made to feel at home.

I have never been to a hotel where the staff know you by name and treat you so well. Thanks again to Kurt, Sean, Dwight and all the bar staff as well as Nicola who cleaned our room and Monique in the Coco spa. Not forgetting Peppy who exudes such joy and happiness every day and organised our trip. I must also mention Andre Joseph from Ataxi service who took us to and from the airport safely and reliably. We can't wait to return.

If you go I recommend the Carnival catamaran trip to see the Pitons. The crew will give you a great time. Also lunch or dinner at Spinnakers and evenings at the Rodney Bay Marina. Although there are other nice restaurants, including two good Indian restaurants, the hotel restaurant is reasonably priced and it is good food. Lovely cocktails as well.

A lot of people opt for all inclusive in the carribbean but I thoroughly recommend room only (breakfast is complimentary and plentiful) at Coco Palm because then you can really experience all that this lovely island and surrounding area has to offer. Enjoy!

Room Tip: We like the pretty views you get in the Garden rooms.

“Unique Hotel”

Visited Coco Palm for third time in December 2012. Last occasion was 5 years ago alone on business and I wanted my wife to experience the special atmosphere of this hotel. We weren't disappointed.

Staff are the most welcoming in St Lucia (and that's saying something when all St Lucians are so friendly!). Restaurant is memorable for all the right reasons. Pool is superb. Room was quiet and well-appointed. Bed very comfortable. Great location for people who want a choice of things to do.

Special mention for Claudine who made our arrival really special and Peppy, Patricia, Tiffany and Esther for their professionalism. here's to the next visit!

“WOW WOW WOW, Heerahs Trini’s”

My husband and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary at Coco Palm, from the 3-6th. It was a Hotel my husband stayed in for business and wanted to take me there. There isn't enough words to express how elated I still am from the moment we arrived at the Hotel, I was blown away with the embrace of the staff and the family staff hospitality. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and very professional. I felt well taken care of and pampered. The Hotel is cost effective and excellent in service and standards. The meals were 'delicioto' and the restaurant staff was extremely professional and so so friendly… all the time. We cannot stop talking about our experience and have both agreed that we shall return...next time with friends so that they too can share in the wonderfiul experience and embrace from the Coco Palm family…Thank you for making our 20th anniversary a most memorable occasion… See you soon!!

“Great Hotel, great staff, great service!”

My husband and I had just married and wanted a beautiful but affordable weekend getaway for our Honeymoon. We chose Coco Palm because of their great price and being locals, we got an even better deal. I called in advance to arrange our romantic weekend and from the get-go the service was exemplary. Speaking to Shane, who arranged everything, from our romantically decorated room, to our wine and fruit basket, to a surprise birthday dinner for my husband. Thank you Shane! Everything was very professionally done and we CANNOT complain where service is concerned, the staff are genuinely friendly and just great! Our room was very spacious and comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious, the pool was very inviting and relaxing, the drinks were tasty, my personal favorite was ‘the scorpion’. We enjoyed the total ambiance of the hotel; our staycation honeymoon was better than we dreamed it would be and we do plan on returning in the future.

“Wouldn’t stay anywhere else”

May 2012 was the second time I have been to Coco Resorts and it just gets better and better. Lots of the same staff remained and they all remembered us. The service here is second to none and my friends and I are quite critical when we go away because it isn’t cheap to do so, so we expect the best, and the best is what you get here. Claudine who manages the hotel alongside her many daily tasks is always contactable and very visible throughout the hotel; but her new Deputy (handsome and affable man) just compliments her and the rest of the team with his vibrance and 'can do' attitude to anything that needs doing. We even met the owner who once again avails himself to guests. A lot of the new people that we met all said the same… 'coming back next year'.

In May 2010 I was there with 18 others for my 40th and it was a blast! 2012 there were just 4 of us but we still had an amazing time! This hotel can teach a lot of others what the service industry is about and this is the reason why me and my guests would NEVER go anywhere else once St Lucia is where we are heading. Roll on Jazz 2013.

Looking forward to all the improvements that have been made and even the website looks fabulous. Have recommended this hotel to a friend of mine who is looking for a Honeymoon venue… where else would I have suggested :)

“Exemplary, friendly service!”

I have stayed at Coco several times before. Coco is a quality facility, well maintained with top amenities, however, it if often the people who make the difference between a good trip and a great one! We were very fortunate to meet two wonderful young women who work there – Amelia and Esther! These women are both exemplary in their provision of quality service and their super friendly personalities – it is obvious they really enjoy what they do.

Mr. Chastanet, I have been all over the island at many different hotels and you have 2 of the most professional people I have ever encountered in the hospitality industry in the 12 years I have been visiting St. Lucia.

Mary O. – Trois-Ilets, Martinique. September, 2012

“Perfect Weekend Getaway”

This hotel is wonderful! My friend and I headed to St Lucia for a couple days of relaxation and chose Coco Palm for its location and price. We stayed in the Kreole Village part of the hotel and while basic (2 VERY comfortable beds, a desk, dresser) it was spotlessly clean and fresh. What more do you need? The pool is beautiful, the bar excellent (try a Mount Gay rum and ginger ale), but what makes this such a nice place to stay is the staff! I cannot say enough good things about everyone! Every staff member went out of his or her way to make sure we had everything we needed. It was great!

Our first night, there was a Mexican theme at the bar and we enjoyed a fabulous pre-planned menu of Mexican foods and live music. Breakfast was not included in our room rate, but the cost of the buffet was quite reasonable and the selection delightful. Food and drink in general was high quality and well priced. We had no problem staying on the grounds for meals.

The hotel is located in the heart of Rodney Bay and is of course withing walking distance to the beach, many restaurants and malls. Some shops offer duty free purchases as long as you have your passport or driver license with you. There are many activities available and the concierge is more than happy to help you plan adventures.

I could go on and on about Coco Palm, but I'll just wrap up by saying I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on my next trip to the island. Thanks Coco Palm for a great girl's weekend!

“Beautiful resort! Beautiful people!”

We spend in Coco Palm resort 2 days while waiting for our plane to Tobago. This resort and St Lucia in general have been a very nice surprise. The resort is beautiful, the room was big and very clean, with comfortable bed, fridge with 2 complementary bottles of water, wonderful pool view, quite and the staff of the hotel were very expert and friendly. They show us and explain us nearly everything from St Lucia & the Resort, starting from our room and finishing with the activities to do, where to go and what to eat and everything with a nice big smile...(maybe this behaviour should be normal...but after expending 5 days in Martinique where almost anyone can speak english and even some people refused to talk to us as soon as we ask if they could speak english, german, spanish or italian and weren't also not friendly...is not so normal and the people from St Lucia are very kind and friendly!!!) As they did with us, we recommend Rodney Bay beach and village, street party in Gros Islet on Friday, Castries with its central park, church and colorful market and the local Piton Beer, very tasty! The beach ist 3 minutes walk from the resort and very nice! We got 2 beach towels for free, in others hotels you must pay for them. Close to the pool in the late afternoon and during the evening there was a band playing very nice music, with good selection and not disturbing like in others hotels. There is also an atm just outside the hotel and in the same long street you can find shops and bars. We fully recommended!

“Great location and experience”

Very impressed with this hotel. We recently stayed on an all inclusive basis [this is fairly new for this hotel] and had a super experience. As well as the hotel being to a very good standard, clean and comfortable, the all inclusive package offers excellent cuisine so it was a real pleasure. The hotel is well situated so shops, restaurants and night life are easily accessible - walking distance. The staff are professional, attentive and friendly. I have been to St.Lucia many times in the past and this was one of my most memorable visits. Will definetely be staying there again. Enjoy.

“Great Location”

This was our second time at this hotel. We both loved the Caribbean feel with clean spacious air conditioned rooms, The free wifi and computers at the main lobby were a big plus for connecting to our business firms while we were away.

We recommend the swim-up pool suites on the bottom floor, loved the room service breakfast after a really late night out.The attentive and friendly staff were a big factor in ensuring our stay was comfortable.

The central location at Rodney Bay also made it really easy to move around. On the whole we really managed to unwind and relax. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I was not a guest at the hotel because I was traveling by catamaran. This was my first time to St Lucia. I was walking around searching for some information. I happened into your hotel and was very well received. Peppy began the conversation by asking if she could help. I told her my purpose and I was not a guest at the hotel but she continues to be ever so warm, friendly and helpful. During the next couple of days I ran into another couple staying at the Coco and we all agreed it was a real pleasure. Keep up the great job. “A good St Lucian Hotel”

I have stayed several times at this hotel and I have never been disappointed. It is in a great location in Rodney Bay so that it is very easy to go to different restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and very helpful, while the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The Wifi works throughout the hotel which is wonderful for business travelers or those looking to keep in touch with family and friends. If you are staying for several days the breakfast menu gives you a choice of St Lucian food or European/American food so that you do not get bored eating the same thing every day.

“2nd visit and it's still as good”

Have just returned from a whistle-stop stay at The Coco Palm Resort. I have left my brother and his family enjoying an extended stay and am very envious. Standards of cleanliness are exceptional. A lot of care and attention is paid to ensure that guests are happy. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Particularly the housekeeping staff who go out of their way to greet you. The hotel is situated in a great location and a few good restaurants are in close proximity. I only had breakfast at Coco Palm, but it was lovely. I would have no hesitation in recommending Coco Palm, I just hope that next time I visit it will be for longer.

Back Again and Again!

Thank you once again Coco Palm for a fantastic stay in St Lucia. Our 7th Time. If you want a large corporate type hotel, this is not for you. If you want the most welcoming hotel with the loveliest team, this is for you.

The welcome you receive is amazing. The rooms are well proportioned, shower heads could do with an upgrade, however?... The whole atmosphere speaks. For a friendly time. The layout of the pool and the bar area lends itself to meeting fellow guests, the general feeling of Coco promotes this.

We visited some of the larger hotels for lunch, the atmosphere was totally lacking at all of them. I am adding I know, to similar comments, but wanted to let Claudine and her wonderful team that the Hotel still cuts it for us.

We have a patio pool view room as we like to sit out in the morning, but we have stayed in other rooms and they are all a very good size which is important. From the very first time we went to St Lucia, it was Coco Palm that was the draw back to this lovely island. It's just makes the experience so much better – You soon forget the long flight!

We will be returning for a special visit for my husbands 60th Birthday, when asked what he would like to do that was special, it had to be St Lucia and Coco Palm.

Great Find!

This is a really great small hotel, with friendly staff in a very good location. We did not have many meals but what we did were really good and the bar service is efficient and pretty well priced.

It is deserving of its write ups and we were not disappointed, not sure what it is but as per other write ups it just gets the balance right and you feel welcome and relaxed. lovely rooms and pretty garden and pool setting We booked a pool side room and were upgraded to a swim up although i have to confess we hardly used the pool! It was nice and laid back, friendly staff, quiet but in a brilliant location just hidden from the main strip.

It was my first visit here and we were keen to explore and really enjoyed getting the local buses. There are plenty going past and its an interesting experience. Avoid rush hour though if you are heading into Castries. The beach is close enough still to be very convenient just a five /ten minute walk away max. I think someone else gave the tip. leave the hotel by the car exit route turn right, cross over and take a left where the cattle grid is and there is a short lane down to the beach. You will also then be at the best end for snorkeling. We went early morning and had our own breakfast on the beach before it got busy with the"on the beach hotel" residents plus cruise visitors taking up position.

We did the Segway Trip / Ride in Rodney Bay, which was fun and different plus a Land / Boat trip with a small independent Spencer Ambrose. Nice guy and different to go on a speedboat ( he has a number of recommendations on trip advisor).

The rest of the time we chilled out or took the local buses to Castries and even Marigot bay everyone is very helpful and for a few dollars the bus will often take you off route like down to the beach at Marigot bay or to Pigeon Island. One other treat was Wednesday night at Buzz restaurant when they had live saxophone player – Really good and very good food!

I will certainly be back to St Lucia, and would have no hesitation going to Coco Palm again.

Coco Kreole, an ideal venue...

We find the Coco Kreole Hotel to be an ideal venue for our courses. The hotel staff friendly and helpful. The facilities and catering are excellent. I would recommend the hotel for your next conference or training event.

There's also a free-form swimming pool and a restaurant, and musicians play live several nights a week.
